Aula Policies

The Aula is an academic space, located in an academic building.  All programming in the space should be academic in nature.   For example (lectures, readings, information sessions, seminars) Programming request will need to be approved by the Campus Activities Office.  Events requested non-academic in nature will need to be approved by Campus.

Events

  • Set up and clean up times must be scheduled with Campus Activities, at the time of the reservation.   Furniture may be rearranged but not removed from room and must be reset.
  • Limited Kitchen facilities available
  • Contact persons name will automatically be placed on keys permission at CRC, keys needed to be picked up and returned to CRC

Art Shows or Exhibitions

  • All exhibitions, installation and de-installation dates must be scheduled with Cathy Jennings.
  • Key permission list of names and exhibition/show hours must be given to Michelle Ransom prior to exhibition/show opening.
  • Carpenter will be needed with ladder to install the work at clients expense; Michelle Ransom will do service request.

Private Parties

  • Room must be reserved through Campus Activities Office
  • Parties permitted only times when Classes are not in session
  • Party Form must be filled out at the time of reserving the space & fee must be paid at that same time.
  • Set up/tear down must be scheduled with Campus Activities
  • Limited Kitchen facilities
  • Furniture may be rearranged but cannot be removed and must be re-set.
  • All trash must be removed from the building
