Oversized student lounge space. Comfortable, contemporary seating (furnishing can be moved to accommodate larger crowd). Café on 3rd floor mezzanine. State of the art in-house sound system for CD’s, DVD, VHS capability. Dimmed lighting system. Piano on raised platform area. Events scheduled in the evening through the Office of Campus Activities.

Students Building Policy and Procedure
- Hours of Operation: (Noon—1 AM daily)
- ACDC staff will open the 2nd and 3rd floors at NOON.
- Café opens at Noon, staffed by ACDC employees.
- At 8 PM ACDC staff will secure the 1st floor of ACDC, card swipe is activated for access to the 2nd and 3rd floors.
- Building Manager will be on duty from 4:30—1 AM to oversee building operations and facilitate event management.
- Managers will secure 2nd and 3rd floors at 12:45 AM
- College security staff will check building periodically through the night.
Programming Policies
Programs will be considered in regard to theme, space availability, logistical requirements and appropriateness to the space. All programs should serve to compliment the café operation and whenever possible not interrupt services. All programs must be open to all members of the Vassar community. Poetry readings, acoustic and acapella music performances, dance performances, jazz night and the like activities are welcome.
Fee admission and ticketed events must be coordinated with the Office of Campus Activities. Dramatic performances are allowed providing there is absolute minimal set design and props. All props must be removed immediately following the performance. Only one rehearsal is allowed in the space itself.
The space cannot be reserved during the hours of 8:30 AM –5 PM. Early opening and late closing requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Beer is not permitted. Champagne and wine will be considered on case-by-case basis. The space is not for private parties.
